Winter Games NZ seeks feedback

  • September 17, 2013

The organisers of the Audi quattro Winter Games NZ are calling for feedback from local residents to help them with their planning for 2015 and 2017. Winter Games chief executive, Arthur Klap, said comments received from local residents will play a big part in the planning for the next two Winter Games.

“If we are to grow the Games in a way that the Southern Lakes gets the maximum possible benefit then it is important that we hear from the locals and get their input in to future Winter Games.” he said. “ QLDC, Destination Queenstown, Lake Wanaka Tourism and the Chambers of Commerce are sending out the link to our short survey to their members so that we can get both individuals and businesses responding. Whether people watched the webcast, caught the action on TV3, went to the ski fields, enjoyed the Adventure Film Festival or other festival activities, we would love to have them complete our survey.” Klap added.

The survey is open to anyone and if anyone hasn’t seen the survey request then they can go on line and complete the survey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/GXR83J7

The results of the survey will go to the Winter Games NZ Trust Board’s strategy meeting in early November to help them decide on the shape and size of the Audi quattro Winter Games NZ in 2015 and 2017.

In the meantime, don’t forget to watch the hour-long highlights programme on TV3 scheduled for 4pm on Saturday 21 September.
