Alpine Slalom is one of the three race disciplines included in the Winter Games NZ race programme. Athletes have two runs on two courses (the run is reset after everyone completes run one) with the athletes combined times used to determine the winner. In Slalom events the gates are tighter and closer together than both Giant Slalom and Super G to test each skiers technical skiing ability. Come up to Cardrona to watch these amazing para athletes weave their way down this highly technical course.
