Winter Games NZ is the Southern Hemisphere’s largest international snow sports event and is held annually in Wānaka and Queenstown. We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our small but passionate team.

 

The Operations Manager is responsible for the planning, hiring and acquisition of assets required to successfully deliver Winter Games NZ, which will be held from 23 August – 9 September 2024. 

 

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent logistic and operational skills, and have a passion for winter sports. This role offers the opportunity to be a member of the Winter Games NZ senior management team, collaborating closely with a small, passionate crew.

 

The role is a five-month, fixed term contract, commencing on the 1st of May 2024. The successful candidate will be required to work from the Winter Games NZ Wānaka office for a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the remaining hours flexible to be worked from the office or from home.
