About the Winter Games NZ festival

We don’t want you to miss a minute of any of the fun this year, so the Audi quattro Winter Games NZ has gone all Après, meaning the party and festival vibe will carry on, on-mountain.

After a day of action on the slopes, you can slip into the courtyard at Cardrona Alpine Resort or anyone of our other fantastic venues and dance the afternoon away, partying to the likes of New Zealand’s very own David Dallas or many others who’ll make up this year’s awesome line up.

Don’t forget to hit up the Corona Bar, celebrate being out of the office with Mumm Champagne or just wing it with a can of Red Bull, and be sure to be at our opening ceremony on August 25 at Coronet Peak, where some Kiwi beats will be woven into our unique Night Slalom.

DJ’s and bands will play throughout the showcase with the Jucy Meltdown on Saturday September 9th rounding out what promises to be the best snow sports party this year.

Check out the full festival schedule here.

Do not miss the closing event of the Audi quattro Winter Games NZ 2017! After 16 days of non-stop action, the Jucy Meltdown Concert is back yet again to finish the event in style.

Headlining the event this year is the award winning hip-hop artist, David Dallas. Arguably the biggest innovator in hip-hop New Zealand has seen in two decades, David Dallas has sold out shows across New Zealand, Australia and the United States, released three chart-topping albums, opened for huge acts including Eminem’s Rapture Tour (NZ) and received a long list of accolades.

As a warm up to the main act, we have a set by Cymbol who is working towards the release of his debut solo LP.  Crafting a unique collection of tracks, Cymbol again highlights his extraordinary production values, while experimenting with more vocal-driven songs. Cymbol’s unique, upbeat and percussion-influenced melodic sound has already seen him sway the spotlight.
